Presentation to National group benefits meetings (NGBM) Jan, 2022

National Group Benefits Meetings invited me to give a pharmacist’s perspective on coverage for high cost medications. I was happy to take the opportunity to look beyond the billing process and give information pertaining to overall financial health through the lens of physical and mental health. I focused on how the pharmacist can help keep you safe from unintended harm both financially and physically. Emphasis was placed on taking the long view and developing a therapeutic relationship with your pharmacist in order to better manage your health and thus your finances.
